GumBlasters Blog_First Post

Hey everybody. My name is Derek Mills, owner of GumBlasters of Arizona. GumBlasters was an idea born from the TV show Dirty Jobs.

Gum is everywhere. I never noticed it until this idea came up. Once you start looking for the gum, you find it's everywhere. Commercial properties fight this pollution problem but until now, have never been able to conquer it completely.

We found that there really was not a sufficient method for getting rid of the problem, until we found a special machine that is widely used in Europe that works wonders. Using steam in conjunction with an all natural cleaning agent, we re-heat the gum, then dissolve it with a very small amount of cleaning agent. Using brush friction, we then lift any residue and vacuum the debris.
Sounds complicated, but it's really all done in about 5 seconds. We are able to clean up to 6000 square feet in one day, with one machine.

Best part of it is, we actually remove the gum. It's 100% gone after we're done. The process is gentle on the surface, only uses 10-15 gallons of water per day and is completey safe for the environment.

Our customers include Colleges, Banks, Performing Arts Centers, Libraries, Malls, Office Buildings, Football/Baseball Stadiums, Government Buildings. You get the idea.

Feel free to contact me if you manage a property in Arizona or might be looking to start a small business of your own. We're looking for owner/operators in Las Vegas, West Phoenix, San Diego, Southern California.

Pressure washing has been banned in many CA cities and has also been restricted in some Arizona cities. They still need to clean their sidewalks and this is a "Green" alternative!
